Lion Brand Yarn, Homespun – Best Yarn for Prayer Shawls

In case you were wondering what type of yarn I use to crochet my prayer shawls with, I decided to make a post to share the type of yarn that I use.
I have always been very picky about the type and quality of yarn that I use, irregardless of the project I may be working on at the time. I never cut corners when it comes to investing in yarn, especially for my prayer shawl ministry.
Because my prayer shawls are a representation of my prayers and the love of God, I want the recipient to really know that alot was investing into the creation of each prayer shawl, to include the quality of the yarn.
For the most of my shawls it takes about four skeins of homespun yarn to complete a shawl. Five at the most if I make in variations in length and width. Most of the patterns I use require no more than five at the most.
Made in America inside a New Hampshire mill which has operated on hydro-generated power since 1915, Lion Brand Homespun is definitely a beloved with knitters and crocheters.
Lion Brand Homespun is available in many beautiful colors and blended colorways, from deep rich to bright pastels.
I have pulled together some of my favorite here for you to choose from. Thank you for shopping and supporting the Beauty for Ashes – Prayer Shawl Ministry.
